Life Painted In Colours

Life Painted In Colours

Red Blue Yellow Pink Green……..
Can Anyone Tell Me How Many Colours Have They Seen?
Plenty Of Them In This Beautiful World
Everyday That Our Innocent Eyes Screen

Green from The North, Yellow From The East
Blue From The South, Red From The West
Winds Spreading Its Wings For Colours Everywhere
Balls Of Colour Floating In The HOLI Fest.

People Out Of Their Homes, In The Streets
As If, This Is The Place Where They Lived
Hand Full Of Colours Dancing In Joy
Seems They Have Won The Battle Of Troy

Notes Of Laughter And Pranks Can Be Heard
Colourful Faces Of Men & Playing Dwarfs
Eyes Refute To Identify Folks There
All Of Them Lost In The HOLY Fair

Book Of Life Has Many Colours Too
And Many Of Us Don’t Have A Clue
Happy Sad Anger And Pain
Are Individual Rings Of Life’s Chain
Like All Colours When Put Together
Emerges Into A Beautiful Train

This Is The Life We All Live
Some Forget While The Others Retrieve
Shall Make All Happy, We Always Pray
Life Shall Move On Is All That We Can Say

The Delhi Trip(29/01/2012)

Krishnananda Bhattacharjya, Ashutosh Dev, Baibhav Shukla, Chiraag Dutta Choudhary, Anish Popli, Ishan Jyoti, Saptadeep Basu, Sagar Sarma, Ankit Khaturia…….

I am on my return journey from the trip to New Delhi, sitting in the Rajdhani Express going back to Durgapur, the place from where the journey began. Trips like this always make me realise that life is all about taking chances. Open your arms, close your eyes, take a deep breath, thin k what your heart is hoping for and do all the things you love. Never ever leave anything to regret, for life very less gives second chances. One day when you will be sitting in a old chair, feeling the warmth of the morning sun, you will realise that it is not the sun that is making your heart warm but the smiles of your friends and the beautiful moments spent together, Keep feeding your heart with these beautiful moments and you shall never feel empty.
It’s been three & a half years we have left college. The days then were by no doubt one of the best days of our lives. We lived there as if we shall never depart but then time is very powerful. We departed to meet again. I have met my friends after my college days but only in bits and pieces. This trip shall be a different one. It is very obvious that we missed Ankur Agarwal, Kamaljyoti Nath, Manish Agarwal & Abhishek Agarwal but to take things positively we give life a second chance that we shall meet again together.
It feels really great when life brings to you the times when you can collect together the pieces of your heart that were a little away, Friends for me is life. I don’t know but to be true I feel the safest place on earth with my closest friends. Looking outside the window with your fists on your cheeks, a music in your ears & words in your mind, you start to think about happiness and only get one reply “Friends”.
Happiness is in everything that one does. It is in Baibhav’s silence & his smile; it is in the reaction of Krishna on the traffic of Noida; it is in standing and watching Ashu clicking some photographs of the India Gate & living in his passion; it is in absorbing all the fundas by Chiraag & Basu; it is in hearing Ishan say “Plan Kya Hai”; it is in breathing in the smoke puffs by the Suttas of Krishna & Ashu; it is in Popli calling "Babu Bhaiya";  it is in all the  “Pati Teas & Coffees”  made by these champs; it is in the laughter of Sagar  & Ankit; it is everywhere. You just have to catch hold of it & make yourselves happy.
