Water As Precious As Gold, In Bowls Of Land

Shivering In The Breeze That Is Blowing

Leaves Waving Their Hands To The Passer by

Strings Of Peace In The Air Flowing

Large Buildings To Live For Hundreds Of People There

People With Big Hearts & Little Care

Some Lived Single & Some With Triple Share

Some Lived With Nature Making A Heavenly Pair

The Fields Were Big & The Trees Were High

We All Played & Shouted There, Without A Sigh

World There Seemed So Happy, So Bright

Freedom In Our Hearts, Just Like A Flying Kite

Bunked The Classes When Sleep Was Needed

Didn't Attend Classes Even If The Teachers Pleaded

"Co-operative" Was The Best Place For The Class Time

Puffs Of Smoke Was The Favourite Pass Time

Attendance Went Short, Classes We Attended

That's The Time We Were Sincere, We Pretended

Eyes Wouldn't Open & Hands Wouldn't Move

Couldn't Understand What The Teacher Was Trying To Prove

Late Night Gossips & Maggie Pumped Our Hearts

Beer Served Liver & Suttas Nourished Lungs

Lost In His Own World, Everyone Seemed There

In Mama's, Lashkar's & Aurbindo's Fair

Cricket In The Corridor & T.T in The Mess

Hand Prints On The Back In A Birthday Bash

Cards On The Bed & CS On The LAN

These Could Be A Medicine To The Deepest Pain

"Pangas" At The Town And "Corner" There

Seemed To Be A Daily Affair

Never Knew To Dare To That Height

Moved On With Life Without Fright

Epic(Ramayana) Taught "RAAVAN" To Be An Evil Player

For Many Of Us He Was GOD There

No Arrows, No Swords Did He Have With Him
